Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use Quill Invoice. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for everything that happens under it. Sign-in is by email. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us immediately at hello@quillinvoice.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

You retain full ownership of the data you put into Quill Invoice — your business profile, clients, items, invoices, estimates, logos, and attachments ("Your Content").

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service for you. We will never sell Your Content or use it to train AI models.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to use, store, and share it (including the right to bill your clients).

Quill Invoice offers a free tier and paid auto-renewing subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Google) and automatically renew for the same term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Cancellation: manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
• Refunds:handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We don't process refunds directly.
• Price changes: we may change prices for new subscriptions or future renewals. Existing subscribers will be notified before any change affects them, in line with App Store and Play Store rules.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send false, fraudulent, or misleading invoices.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or contains malicious code.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our source code, except where law permits.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The Service — including the app, website, brand, logo, design, and all related materials — is owned by CortexLumora Private Limited and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms.

Quill Invoice integrates with third-party services (e.g. Apple, Google, Clerk, AWS, RevenueCat). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Quill Invoice is a tool to create and send invoice documents. We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices and tax handling comply with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CortexLumora Private Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Account → Delete accountin the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India, unless local consumer-protection laws give you a non-waivable right to bring a claim in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
